The following article is an update on Neuralink’s efforts at creating human brain implant [also read NEURALINK MAY START IMPLANTING COMPUTER CHIPS IN HUMANS THIS 2021]. It was written by Ben Zeisloft and published by The Daily Wire last July 31, 2021.

Neuralink is currently raising funds to begin the development of brain implants for humans. The project, currently dubbed as N1 Link aims to help quadriplegics to access the digital world without the use of their hands.

A blog post from the companies explains this further: “Our first product, the N1 Link, is a 1024 channel device that, once implanted, is completely invisible and transmits data via a wireless connection. The first indication this device is intended for is to help quadriplegics regain their digital freedom by allowing users to interact with their computers or phones in a high bandwidth and naturalistic way. The funds from the round will be used to take Neuralink’s first product to market and accelerate the research and development of future products.”

According to Zeisloft, Neuralink has not yet begun human trials but the company is aiming to raise $205 million in venture capital to fund this project.

Editor’s Note: As several people have already raised, how will the human brain implant be secured? While we also support the digital freedom of quadriplegics, we hope that Neuralink realizes that there are many ways this technology can be secured.

Will viruses be able to hack into the system? Will such virus have the capacity to send back signals that can mess up the quadriplegic’s brain or cause it to reveal confidential information?
