As it turns out, Elon Musk’s view of the human being is no better than that of transhumanists.

This February 2, 2021 article by the Business Insider reports on a recent Twitter post made by Elon Musk. Last February 1, 2021, another Twitter user requested to be included in clinical trials of Neuralink, to whom Musk replied, “Neuralink is working super hard to ensure implant safety & is in close communication with the FDA. If things go well, we might be able to do initial human trials later this year”.

The post comes after Musk recently announced that Neuralink has successfully implanted a chip in a monkey’s brain, allowing the money to play video games using only its mind [see Neuralink chip has allowed monkey to play video games with his mind].

Editor’s Note: Neuralink shows no let up in its developments. While Musk’s goal is to prevent the obsolescence of the human being, it misses key points about the true nature of the human being. It is no better than the transhumanist agenda, as Musk’s Neuralink offers no acknowledgement for the new sciences pointing to human capacities which are beyon the physical realm.
