Over the years, the availability of funding for scientific research has been controlled by funders with big money – Big Pharma, Big Food, etc. But the internet offers us, ordinary citizens the capacity to fund researches that are valuable for us. Crowdfunding has opened new creative energies, and the capacity to communicate online has extended our reach. We have created polycentric networks where projects, programs, and best practices can be widely shared. Our current technology is enough for us to address major political, scientific, philosophical, and economic issues, we do not need AI to create paradise. We must, however, learn to change our consciousness towards one that can live and be inspired with the mystery
