Dr. Eric Topol, cardiologist at Scripps Research believes that AI will bring back the humanistic encounters between patients and doctors, and in the process, allow patients to truly understand how they can prevent the onset of disease. In order to take advantage of AI’s benefits however, Topol thinks that patients should have the capacity to access their full medical records, starting from their birth.
