In this 1 hour 31 minute documentary produced by the HBO, we discover the various vulnerabilities in electronic voting systems and the alarming risks they pose to democracy.
In this video, Finnish hacker and cyber security expert Harri Hursti shows how the voting system of the United States remains dangerously unprotected.
Editor’s Note: This video raises many questions for us. If the US, which undoubtedly has one of the best technologies in the world, can have a hackable electoral system, we can only imagine how vulnerable the systems are for less developed countries.
And if less developed countries are shifting towards electronic voting, this could mean that whoever controls the voting machines, controls the outcome of the elections. In essence, they can gain control of entire countries. Could this be imperialism in another form?
