This September 2019, the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) began a study designed to understand how people access energy and information not limited to time and space, what they call as a person’s noetic signature. IONS hypothesizes that all individuals have noetic signatures and that these capacities can be developed and refined.
Implications for AI
Noetic signatures come in a variety of names: clairvoyance, telepathy, precognition, anomalous information reception, psychokinesis, etc. If all individuals have these innate capacities, and we learn to develop them at will, than we have no need for artificial super intelligence. We already are that intelligence and machines should be given a role that will only enhance our natural human capacities.
