Despite the fact that more and more people are becoming concerned about data privacy and security, companies in the UK are contemplating on implanting their staff with microchips. The Trade Union Congress is concerned that employees may be coerced to get these microchips, hence impeding their personal privacy.

Why It Matters

While TUC’s concerns are valid, it is shortsighted. Shouldn’t they be asking how microchips will make work easier for employees?
