Though AI is being marketed today as an integral tool for the prosperity of society, it doesn’t take away the fact that AI and the other technologies associated with it were developed for warfare.

In this article for the Open Access Library Journal, author Claudio Messori asserts that AI is but an extension of the development warfare technology. He says that in the end, AI will lead to the man-machine hybrid, and the robotization of societies, and ultimately, the annihilation of mankind. It is unclear where Messori stands in this issue, but in his article, he contemplates the emergence of universal consciousness as embodied by scientists who belong to  the Science and Nonduality (SAND) community [read Science and Nonduality Conference 2019 to know of the latest conversations happening within this community].
