1 min readWhat are the limits to artificial intelligence?

Our science may think that artificial consciousness is possible but our mathematics does not have the capacity to compute for the algorithm of self-organizing systems.

In this article for Current Science professor Subhash Kak talks about the mathematical limitations of artificial intelligence. According to Kak, we do not yet know if machines will ever be imbued with consciousness especially since we do not have a mathematical theory that will allow us to compute for adaptive, and self-organizing components.
