Like any other technology, AI will lead to cultural and value shifts, which we, humans may not readily see. In this article for Aeon, senior research fellow Paula Boddington says that all the benefits of AI must be measured against our own values. Only by doing so can we lead this development, and ensure that humans are still in control of the results.
