De Kai, a computer science professor and the only Asian member of Google’s Advanced Technology External Advisory Council, is concerned about the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Unlike other past industrial revolutions which automated human brawn, the AI era is all about automating human thoughts and opinions. De Kai says that today is the single worst possible time to have an educational system that creates a division between the sciences and the humanities.
